Investigators impersonated HP board members and outside reporters to get their personal call records from phone companies. Now Congress, the FBI, and California’s attorney general are looking into criminal charges, possibly against Dunn.
John Markoff: New York Times technology writer. Private investigators impersonated him to get his phone records.
